We are a family-owned, Montana-based asphalt contractor dedicated to delivering innovative construction solutions for both public and private sector clients. Rooted in strong values and decades of industry experience, we approach every project with a commitment to excellence.

We saw a gap in the market—one we knew needed to be filled. State and federal projects require strict material specifications, adherence to established standards, and consistent quality‑control testing throughout construction. These practices ensure long‑term performance and structural integrity.

At Highland Asphalt, we believe these high standards shouldn’t be reserved only for government projects. Private‑sector clients deserve the same level of precision, oversight, and durability. That’s why we apply the same rigorous specifications and quality‑management practices to every job, regardless of size or sector.

Because if your pavement is going to last, it must be designed correctly before a single ton of asphalt is placed. Proper planning, engineering, and testing upfront are the foundation of a project that performs for years—not just seasons.

Our leadership team brings over 40 years of hands‑on experience in building civil infrastructure of every scale. From complex airport runways and high‑traffic interstate highways to neighborhood driveways and commercial parking lots, we’ve been involved in projects that demand precision, durability, and strict adherence to industry standards.

This depth of experience means we understand the engineering challenges, material requirements, and quality controls needed to deliver long‑lasting pavement solutions. We apply the same level of technical excellence and attention to detail to every project—big or small—ensuring that our clients receive infrastructure built to perform and built to last.
